Nurses Week 2022

Happy Nurses Week!

“UAMS Nurses AR Rooted in Strength”           Rooted in Strength Tree

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) inspired the theme for UAMS Nurses Week 2022, “Rooted in Strength”. Beth Wathen, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, AACN President-elect shares “disruptive forces have led to countless changes in our everyday lives, and it has led to devastating loss. Nurses are rooted in strength, forged in fire and growing in power. Rooted in Strength we create our new path forward as leaders in healthcare.” This theme served to inspire many of the activities this week.

Chief Nursing Officer, Trenda Ray, PhD., RN, NEA-BC welcomes our 2154 UAMS Nurses to Nurses Week 2022 and has a video message above.
