Nurses Month 2021

Happy Nurses Month!

“Nurses Make a Difference”
The American Nurses Association (ANA) has extended the Year of the Nurse and Nurse Midwife into 2021 and declared the month of May as the first Nurses Month building on the increased visibility of nurses’ contributions impacting the health and well-being of our communities. Each week, ANA and UAMS Nurses will focus on a different topic from self-care, recognition, professional development to community engagement.

Chief Nursing Officer, Trenda Ray, PhD., RN, NEA-BC welcomes our 2165 UAMS Nurses to Nurses Month 2021 and has a video message above.

Please check out this video on Epidemics and Pandemics by some of our UAMS Nurses for Nurses Month 2021. Here is the PowerPoint to go with the video.

Special Shout Out to our Nurses Rock Committee for planning Nurses Month activities and opportunities in order to celebrate, recognize, and thank YOU, our UAMS Nurses and staff for taking care of our patients, families and each other 24/7/365!
