NOM-MVP-Testing

The Professional Nursing Organization’s Image Council is pleased to announce Sherry Bell, a Physical Therapy Assistant, as our Most Valuable Partner (MVP) for November 2016. Sherry has been with UAMS off and on since 2007.

Sherry is always looking to improve patient safety and experiences along with easing the transition from the hospital to the home. Her manager states, “She makes each patient and family feel special. She engages the family in therapy services making sure the family also feels comfortable with assisting the patient in preparation for discharge.”  A patient shared, “Sherry was with us every step of the way!  She gave us good tips for movement to make our exercise something to look forward to rather than dread.”  A coworker states “When she sees a patient in pain, or struggling to recover, she takes the time to understand their fears and reassures them.”

UAMS is grateful to have Sherry as part of the patient care team.  Her commitment to Patient- and Family-Centered care provides comfort, hope, and healing each and every day.

Congratulations and Thank you, Sherry!
